Our Mission and Vision

At The Women in Tech Coterie, we're dedicated to revolutionising the tech industry by embracing diversity, inclusivity, and innovation. We recognise the unique challenges women face in this sector, as highlighted in the Tech Talent Charter's report "Attrition in Tech: Why Women Leave Tech Jobs." Our vision is a tech world where women are empowered to thrive and excel in technology, data, engineering, and robotics through alternative accreditation routes and continuous support.

Addressing the Challenges

Despite women representing nearly half the global population, they are underrepresented in tech fields like robotics and engineering (19%), and their presence in tech has sadly decreased since 1984. Notably, many women leave tech by age 35, and a significant number often find themselves as the sole woman in professional environments. We understand these challenges and offer tailored solutions to support women through every career phase, including critical life events like marriage, childbirth, and maternity leave.

We offer flexible, dynamic programmes designed to fit various life stages, ensuring no woman misses out on career progression opportunities. Our initiatives range from mentorship with industry experts, targeted career acceleration programmes, leadership development, to practical, hands-on workshops.
